How to install

Step 1: Scrub Down the Frame

  • Use Scotchbrite to scrub down the frame.
  • This removes dirt, rust, and smoothens the surface for optimal adhesion.

Step 2: Degrease the Frame

  • Spray brake cleaner to thoroughly degrease the frame.
  • Ensure all oils and contaminants are cleaned off.

Step 3: Heat Up the Frame

  • Heat the frame until you see the grease begin to evaporate (it will look like water being pulled out).
  • If the frame gets wet, wipe it down immediately!

Step 4: Apply the Griptape

  • While the frame is still warm, apply the griptape smoothly and evenly.
  • Press down to ensure proper adhesion for long-lasting performance.
